Available Faculty Positions and Pay Scales (7th CPC):

Professor: Level 14A (₹1,59,100–2,20,200) with Entry Basic Pay of ₹1,59,100/pm.
Associate Professor: Level 13A2 (₹1,39,600–2,11,300) with Entry Basic Pay of ₹1,39,600/pm.
Asst. Professor Gr-I: Level 12 (₹1,01,500–1,67,400) with Entry Basic Pay of ₹1,01,500/pm.
Asst. Professor Gr-II: Level 11 (Entry Basic Pay ₹89,900/pm) or Level 10 (Entry Basic Pay ₹70,900/pm).

Departments and Campuses:

Jais & Bengaluru: Petroleum Engineering & Geoengineering, Chemical & Biochemical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematical Sciences, and Energy & Human Sciences.
Bengaluru only: Management Studies.

Eligibility: Candidates must hold a PhD with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch. A very good academic record throughout is required, with additional experience requirements varying by post.
