Educational & Experience

Candidates belonging to General/ EWS category and candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD category applying against unreserved posts should have first class degree / minimum 60% marks in the Minimum Educational Qualification for consideration against unreserved posts. Reserved category candidates should have at least 50% marks in Minimum Qualification for consideration against reserved posts. (RITES)
Degree must be recognized by AICTE from a University incorporated by an Act of Central or State legislature in India or other statutory institutions recognized by UGC. Sections A & B examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) which is treated as equivalent to Degree by Govt. of India shall also be accepted. (RITES)
If marksheet does not indicate percentage, applicant shall provide conversion formula issued by university/institution; if not available, an undertaking and 6 on 10 point scale will be considered as 60%. (RITES)

Note: Training/internship/teaching/fellowship/PhD research experience shall NOT be counted as experience. (RITES)

Relaxations & Concessions

Reservation/ relaxation/ concessions to EWS/ SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD/ Ex-SM/ J&K Domicile would be provided as per extant Govt. orders.
Relaxation in upper age limit to OBC (NCL)/ SC/ ST candidates shall be provided against reserved posts as per extant Govt. orders.
PWD candidates suffering from not less than 40% disability shall be eligible for a 10 year relaxation in upper age limit. (RITES)

Selection Process

Selection Process shall consist of:

a) Written Test

125 objective type questions carrying one mark each. Duration 2.5 Hours. No negative marking.
PwBD Candidates: compensatory time of 50 minutes.
Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts) to be considered for next stage. (RITES)

b) Interview

Candidates called in ratio 1:6 to vacancies.
Weightage: Written Test 60% | Interview 40% (Technical & Professional proficiency 30%; Personality Communication & Competency 10%).
Minimum interview qualifying marks: UR/EWS 60% (50% for reserved). No minimum aggregate required. (RITES)

Examination Syllabus (Annexure A) — Total 125 Questions:

Quantitative Aptitude (around 35 Questions): number system, arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, mensuration, averages, profit & loss, ratio & proportion, work time, time & distance, probability, permutations & combinations, simple & compound interest, etc.
Data Interpretation (around 35 Questions): tables, charts, graphs, series interpretation.
Logical Reasoning (around 35 Questions): puzzles, seating arrangement, inequalities, venn diagrams, blood relations, directions, ordering & ranking, pattern recognition.
Basic Awareness / General Knowledge (around 20 Questions): Current affairs national & international, sports, awards, Indian history, polity, economy, geography, general science. (RITES)

Offer(s) will be issued ONLY based on project/company requirement; empanelment does NOT guarantee deployment or right to a job.
Appointment purely on contract basis initially for one year, extendable subject to mutual consent and satisfactory performance and requirement of projects.

Basic Pay: INR 23,340 (per month)
Gross Monthly CTC: INR 42,478 (approx)
