Minimum Educational Qualifications & Experience

Sr. Manager (Ports & Waterways) – VC No. RG/26/25: Requires a Master’s Degree in Marine Engineering & Management, Ocean Structures/Engineering, or Structural Engineering. Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience, including 5 years in design and analysis of marine and coastal structures like quay walls and jetties.

Manager (Ports & Waterways) – VC No. RG/27/25: Requires the same Master’s Degree qualifications as the Senior Manager post. A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience is required, with at least 3 years specifically in the design or analysis of marine structures.

Manager (Coastal Modelling) – VC No. RG/28/25: Requires a Master’s Degree in Coastal Engineering, Marine Engineering & Management, or Ocean Structures/Engineering. Candidates need 5 years of professional experience in coastal/ocean engineering, including 2 years in numerical modelling of coastal processes.

Assistant Manager (Port Planning) – VC No. RG/29/25: Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in Transport Planning, Urban Planning, or similar fields. This role requires 2 years of experience in port master planning, CRZ zoning, and proficiency in tools like GIS and AutoCAD.

Salary and Selection Process

The pay scales for these regular positions are highly competitive. The Senior Manager role carries a pay scale of ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000 with an approximate CTC of ₹23.71 Lakhs. Managerial positions offer ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000 with an approximate CTC of ₹19.83 Lakhs.

The selection process involves a Written Test comprising 125 objective-type questions followed by an Interview for shortlisted candidates. Test centers are tentatively planned for Delhi/Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, and Guwahati.
