SKIMS Medical College, Bemina, Srinagar invites applications on prescribed format from eligible candidates possessing NMC/DCI recognized BDS qualification for tenure engagement against vacant/likely vacant positions of Junior Residents.

सिक्किम्स मेडिकल कॉलेज, बेमिना, श्रीनगर जूनियर रेजिडेंट्स के रिक्त/संभावित रिक्त पदों पर कार्यकाल के जुड़ाव के लिए एनएमसी/डीसीआई मान्यता प्राप्त बीडीएस योग्यता रखने वाले पात्र उम्मीदवारों से निर्धारित प्रारूप पर आवेदन आमंत्रित करता है।

The candidates shall also be required to submit an affidavit duly attested by First Class Judicial Magistrate regarding not doing/done Junior Residency of (06) Months or More within or outside this institution. (Format of Affidavit Annexed as Annexure ‘B’)

दंत चिकित्सा में जूनियर रेजिडेंट्स के कार्यकाल के जुड़ाव के लिए विज्ञापन सूचना संख्या SKIMS-MC (07) Acad of 2025, दिनांक: .07.2026 का अनुबंध।

SKIMS Medical College, Bemina, Srinagar invites applications on prescribed format from candidates possessing minimum BDS qualification, recognized by the DCI, for tenure engagement as per approved policy, against vacant/likely vacant positions of Junior Residents in Dentistry. The Posts shall carry salary as per rules.

सिक्किम्स मेडिकल कॉलेज, बेमिना, श्रीनगर दंत चिकित्सा में जूनियर रेजिडेंट्स के रिक्त/संभावित रिक्त पदों के लिए स्वीकृत नीति के अनुसार कार्यकाल के जुड़ाव के लिए डीसीआई द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त न्यूनतम बीडीएस योग्यता रखने वाले उम्मीदवारों से निर्धारित प्रारूप पर आवेदन आमंत्रित करता है। पदों पर नियमानुसार वेतन देय होगा।

The application forms shall be issued by the Academic Section or download from official website i.e http://www.skimsmc.edu.in, candidates shall have to pay Rs.500/- to CD-10 account J&K Bank Branch located in the SKIMS MCH premises and attached the bank receipt of same with application form.

आवेदन पत्र शैक्षणिक अनुभाग द्वारा जारी किए जाएंगे या आधिकारिक वेबसाइट यानी http://www.skimsmc.edu.in से डाउनलोड किए जा सकते हैं, उम्मीदवारों को सिक्किम्स एमसीएच परिसर में स्थित जेएंडके बैंक शाखा के CD-10 खाते में 500 रुपये का भुगतान करना होगा और आवेदन पत्र के साथ उसकी बैंक रसीद संलग्न करनी होगी।

QUALIFICATIONS:
• The applicant should possess BDS qualification recognized by DCI/NMC with One Year Compulsory Rotatory Internship from DCI/NMC Recognized Institutions.
• Permanent Registration Certificate from J&K Dental Council.

योग्यता: आवेदक के पास डीसीआई/एनएमसी मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थानों से एक वर्ष की अनिवार्य रोटेटरी इंटर्नशिप के साथ डीसीआई/एनएमसी द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त बीडीएस योग्यता होनी चाहिए। जेएंडके डेंटल काउंसिल से स्थायी पंजीकरण प्रमाण पत्र होना चाहिए।

APPLICATION PROCEDURE & CONTACT INFORMATION

To apply, eligible candidates must download the official registration forms via the online portal at skimsmc[dot]edu[dot]in or obtain them directly from the Academic Section.

A non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 500 must be deposited into the CD-10 account at Jammu and Kashmir Bank, located inside the medical institute’s premises at Bemina, Srinagar. Ensure the original receipt is attached securely to your application form.

All completed physical applications, along with self-attested supporting credentials (DOB, BDS Degree, Internship Completion Certificate, J&K Dental Council Registration, and the Magistrate-attested Affidavit), must be physically submitted at the Academic Section, SKIMS Medical College Hospital, Bemina, Srinagar, J&K – 190017, before the final deadline of 22/07/2026.

METHODOLOGY OF SELECTION / SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
• The examination will be of Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions).
• Merit sheet shall be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the said examination.
• Tenure engagement(s) as Junior Resident shall be made as per the availability of positions becoming vacant from time to time. Provided further that merit list would remain valid for a period of 01 year from the issuance of Merit list.

• In case of tie, the candidate senior in age shall be given preference.
• Candidates shall be required to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in the written test for consideration of selection.
• Date & Venue of Examination shall be notified separately.

• There shall be no negative marking.
• Preliminary Answer Keys shall be uploaded on College Website (www.skimsmc.edu.in) on the same day after examination.

Any representation regarding Answer Key received within the time limit fixed by the Institution at the time of uploading Preliminary Answer Key will be scrutinized and the decision of this Institution in this regard will be final. The final Answer Key shall be uploaded on the College Website accordingly.
• The incomplete application forms will be cancelled without any further notice.

चयन की कार्यप्रणाली / परीक्षा की योजना: परीक्षा वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार (बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न) की होगी। योग्यता सूची उक्त परीक्षा में प्राप्त अंकों के आधार पर तैयार की जाएगी। जूनियर रेजिडेंट के रूप में कार्यकाल का जुड़ाव समय-समय पर खाली होने वाले पदों की उपलब्धता के अनुसार किया जाएगा। योग्यता सूची जारी होने की तारीख से 1 वर्ष की अवधि के लिए वैध रहेगी। टाई होने की स्थिति में अधिक आयु वाले

उम्मीदवार को प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी। उम्मीदवारों को चयन के लिए विचार किए जाने हेतु लिखित परीक्षा में न्यूनतम 40% अंक प्राप्त करना आवश्यक होगा। परीक्षा की तिथि और स्थान अलग से अधिसूचित किया जाएगा। कोई नकारात्मक अंकन नहीं होगा। प्रारंभिक उत्तर कुंजी परीक्षा के बाद उसी दिन कॉलेज की वेबसाइट (www.skimsmc.edu.in) पर अपलोड कर दी जाएगी।

ANNEXURE “B” – UNDERTAKING BY (Eligible candidates for applying Junior Resident Dentistry)
(To be sworn in before Judicial Magistrate First Class)
The candidate must provide a solemn undertaking stating domicile residence details, status of verification by PSC, and confirming that they have not undergone Junior Residency of 06 months or more within or outside SKIMS MCH as of the application date.

Any false representation will lead to cancellation of candidature and punitive legal actions.
