SKUAST-Jammu DST Project Recruitment Notice
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu, Chatha – 180009 (J&K), Directorate of Research, Main Campus Chatha, Jammu has issued an official recruitment notice DIP/J-2396-P dated 30-09-2026 for Walk-in-Interview under DST funded project. The project is titled “Documentation, Revival and Upscaling of Indigenous Knowledge Systems for Scientific Development in Pir Panjal and Shivalik ranges of JK UT”.

Vacancies, Emoluments & Duration
The recruitment is for Project Associate-I with emoluments of ₹30,000/- + HRA (20%) per month, and Scientific Administrative Assistant/Field Worker with emoluments of ₹24,000/- + 20% HRA per month. The duration for both project positions is 06 months (Upto March 2027).
यह भर्ती प्रोजेक्ट एसोसिएट-I के लिए ₹30,000/- + एचआरए (20%) प्रति माह, और वैज्ञानिक प्रशासनिक सहायक/फील्ड वर्कर के लिए ₹24,000/- + 20% एचआरए प्रति माह के परिलब्धियों पर है। दोनों परियोजना पदों की अवधि 06 महीने (मार्च 2027 तक) है।
Eligibility & Essential Qualifications
For Project Associate-I, essential qualification is Four years Bachelors in Agricultural Sciences/ Masters in Agricultural Sciences. Desirable qualifications include M.Sc Agricultural Economics/MBA (ABM)/M.Sc Agri. Extension Education, knowledge of field research, documentation, data analysis, report writing, computer application, and proficiency in local language. For Scientific Administrative Assistant/Field Worker, essential qualification is Graduate in any discipline with desirable working knowledge of computers.
