Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up temporary positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Fieldworker/Helper in a DST funded research project entitled “North Indian Centre for Water Technology Research in Agriculture” with following qualification

Experience in soil and plant laboratory analysis, laying field trials, water productivity in agriculture, micro- irrigation, soil and water conservation frainwater management

Rs 31,000/-p. m. plus 8% HRA

1. M.Sc. Agriculture/Allied subjects/ Life Sciences/M.Tech (Soil and water conservation)

2. NET/ GATE/Equivalent

Field worker/Helper

Rs 15000 per month (Consolidat ed)

12th class with four years of experience in field and lab analysis work/data management/office assistance Upper age limit is 40 years on last date of application submission

Working experience in laying experimental trials/carrying field operations and management practices/ soil and plant analysis/data recording/office assistance/diploma in agriculture/data recording/ management

Terms and Conditions:

1. The positions are purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project and will be filled up το 10.09.2024.

2. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill the positions, depending on the qualifications/credentials of the candidates applied etc.

3. The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the period of the project with no claim of absorption against any temporary/regular post in the University.

4. The appointee can be terminated at any time by University without assigning any reason thereof. In event of the relinquishing of the engagement by candidate, one month notice is essential.

5. No separate intimation shall be issued and no TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview 6. How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application containing covering letter, detailed
