information, are invited from the eligible candidates for filing of staff position on contractual basis under project
“All India Coordinated Research Project on Weed Management” SKUAST-Jammu. The position is temporary,
time bound and contractual basis to be filled initially up to 31-03-2023 and further extension will be granted on the
basis of budget availability and performance of the candidates. The detail o f the position is given below

How to apply: The application along with attested testimonials/certihicates should be reached in the office of
Professor& PI, AICRP-Weed Management, Div. of Agronomy, Block No. 3, 1st Floor, FoA, SKUAST-J,
Chatha, Jammu 180009 (J&K) on or before 17-10-2022. The eligible candidates will be interviewed on 31
October, 2022 at 10.00 A.M onward in the Directorate of Research, SKUAST Jammu, Chatha. No separate
intimation shall be issued for interview. The said advertisement is also availlable on University website

Terms and conditions: The position is temporary and contractual basis to be filled initially up to 31-03-2023 and
further extendable subject to the satisfactory perfomance of the candidate and availability of budget. The
appointee can be terminated by the University/Principal Investigator in case of unsatisfactory work and shortage of
funds. The appointee shall have no legal dlaim for regular adjustment/absorption in SKUASTJ. The appointee
shall have to report within 10 days to Professor & PI, AICRP on Weed Management from the issuance of
appointment order failing which the engagement shall stand cancelled automatically. No TADA wll be paid to
candidate for attending the interview.
