Walk in Interview for the post of Project Assistant

Applications are invited for a Project Assistant position on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project under the JKST&IC sponsored research project at the SKUAST-Jammu. The interview shall be conducted on 26th of March, 2024 at 11.00 am at Directorate of Research, SKUAST-Jammu

: Development of quality planting material through plant tissue culture for the farmers of Samba district

4. Duration

: One-year (initially), extendable up to two years (or till the completion of this project whichever is earlier) subject to satisfactory performance

: J&K Science, Technology & Innovation Council(JKST&IC), Department of Science & Technology, Government of Jammu & Kashmir

Master’s degree in life sciences or other relevant subjects from

a recognized University/ Institution/ Agriculture University with 55% Marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (Candidate who has qualified NET/GATE or any other equivalent examination will be preferred). Desirable :

Rs. 20,000.0 (1& 2nd year) as per JKST&IC Norms

: The services of the selected candidate will be as per JKST&IC/SKUAST-J guidelines. The project fellowship is a full- time position. The selected candidate shall not draw money from any other source.
