An official advertisement notice has been issued by the Division of Aquatic Animal Health Management under the Faculty of Fisheries at SKUAST Kashmir. Applications in the prescribed proforma are invited from eligible candidates to fill up a temporary position on a contractual basis. The appointment is initially for a period of six months, extendable based on performance, and is co-terminus with the project.

The recruitment is being conducted for the role of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under an externally funded project titled “Verification and Monitoring Consultant (V&MC) for Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojana (PMMKSSY): Fisheries Sector Prosperity Project” (World Bank Project ID: P1774798). There is currently 01 vacant position available for this engagement, offering fixed monthly emoluments of Rs. 40,000 as per established project norms.

To be eligible, candidates must possess an essential qualification of an M.F.Sc or an equivalent postgraduate degree in Fisheries Sciences from a recognized University or Institute. Desirable credentials include professional knowledge of fisheries science, hatcheries, and fish farms, proficiency in data compilation, and good communication skills.
