The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K), specifically the Division of Aquatic Environmental Management, Faculty of Fisheries, has issued an advertisement notice for a research position.

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Research Assistant for a research project titled “Pesticide Toxicity Assessment of Wular Lake (Ramsar Site)”. This position is for a temporary period and is purely on a contractual basis, co-terminus with the project.

Monthly Emoluments: 25,000/=

Qualifications

Essential Qualification: M.F.Sc. / M.Sc. AEM / FRM / Toxicology / Zoology / Env. Science (or equivalent). Candidates should preferably have experience in Aquatic Toxicology and must have at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Desirable Qualification: PhD in AEM / FRM / Toxicology / Zoology / Env. Science (or equivalent) with research experience in Aquatic Toxicology and at least one NAAS-rated research paper published in the subject.
