Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions, purely on a temporary contract-basis under an ICMR-funded project titled, A Comprehensive Epidemiological Survey of Avian Influenza Virus in the Migratory Pathways of Jammu and Kashmir, being undertaken at Laboratory of Vaccine Biotechnology, Division of Animal Biotechnology, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, SKUAST-Kashmir.
Project Positions
Qualification
Essential: First class master’s degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/Virology from a recognized university.
Second-class master’s degree with PhD in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/
Project Research Scientist-l (Non-Medical) (2 Positions)
Microbiology/ Virology from a recognized university Desirable: Experience in molecular and cellular virology. Excellent knowledge of computational biology and good writing skills. Previous experience working in a
Biosafety level-Il or above-certified laboratory. Max Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxable to OBC and SC/ST Candidate as per ICMR norms)
Essential: Post-graduate degree in Biotechnology/
Microbiology/Virology from a recognized university.
Biochemistry/
Project Technical Support-III (1 position)
Desirable: Experience in molecular virology techniques. Previous experience working in a Biosafety level-II or above-certified laboratory. Max Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxable to OBC and SC/ST Candidate as per ICMR norms)
