In pursuit of its goal of becoming an innovation led farm University and promoting a culture of start-ups to push Agri-economy in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, SKUAST-K is establishing an “Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship centre (SKIIE)”.

The center is required to provide a platform for innovators to convert their ideas into commercially viable products. It shall also provide services related to patenting and commercialization.

Application are therefore invited from desirous eligible candidates from domiciles of UT of J&K only for the following positions at SKIIE centre. The roles require dynamic person(s) who can be engaged in every aspect of entrepreneurship and start-up eco-system, to handle diverse products, to interact with industry experts & to manage the incubation centre.

Minimum Essential Qualification/Experience/Desirable

Minimum Essential Qualification:

Masters in Agricultural Business Management/ Entrepreneurship/ Business Management/ International Marketing from any accredited and nationally reputed institute/university with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.

6 years of overall work experience, out of which 2 years of experience in the start-up/Innovation/Entrepreneurship domain, either as Startup Mentor/BDA/start-up founder of a start-up and Innovation ecosystem or in a lead position in a reputed Innovation & Start-up promoting organization/industry for commercialization of technologies.

Should possess Proof/evidence of mentoring the early-stage startups / innovators in any recognized organization or incubation centre.

High impact publications/articles/books etc.

Desirable:

Experience of 2 years as Business Development analyst/Business Manager in any reputed government Institute/Organisation.

Certified Design Thinking Professional from any recognized training Institute/Organization.

Should have a good hand in preparation of DPR’s / Policies or Business Models (BMC).

Should have a strong understanding of start-up companies, technology and incubation, early-stage investments, raising funds.
