Applications are invited for contractual engagement of one Scientific Administrative Assistant initially for one year and extendable annually upto 5 years based on performance (co-terminus with the project) in an ANRF, Govt of India sponsored project entitled “Genomic Selection for Enhancing Growth and Meat Production in Temperate Himalayan Sheep Breeds” subject to terms and conditions of the funding agency and host university.

📢 भारत सरकार के ANRF द्वारा प्रायोजित परियोजना “जीनोमिक चयन” के लिए एक वैज्ञानिक प्रशासनिक सहायक के पद पर संविदा आधार पर आवेदन आमंत्रित। प्रारंभ में एक वर्ष, अधिकतम 5 वर्ष तक विस्तार योग्य।

Position	Salary/month	Eligibility
Scientific Administrative Assistant (01)	₹24,000 PM + HRA or as approved	Essential: B.V.Sc. & AH / B.Sc. in Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Agriculture / allied biological sciences. Desirable: M.V.Sc./M.Sc. in Animal Genetics & Breeding / Biotechnology / Genomics / Bioinformatics or allied sciences. Experience in DNA handling, Bioinformatics, GWAS, coding (R/Python) and field sheep performance data collection.

📋 पद: वैज्ञानिक प्रशासनिक सहायक (01), वेतन ₹24,000 प्रति माह + HRA। आवश्यक योग्यता: B.V.Sc. & AH / B.Sc. (जैव प्रौद्योगिकी/जीवन विज्ञान/कृषि)। वांछनीय: M.V.Sc./M.Sc., DNA हैंडलिंग, बायोइन्फोमैटिक्स, R/Python कोडिंग, GWAS का अनुभव।
