1. (Vacancy No. 22071301609) Four vacancies for the post of Operations Officer,
Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation (ST-01, OBC-01, UR-02)
(PwBD-01)’. *Of the four vacancies, one vacancy is reserved for candidates belonging to
category of Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) viz. Autism, Intellectual Disability,
Specific Learning Disability and Mental lness with disability i.e. Specific Learning
Disability (SLD) OR Multiple disabilities (MD) i.e. at least two disabilities from the sub
categories of the disabilities i.e. Deaf and Hard of Hearing with disability i.e .Deaf (D) or
Hard of Hearing (HH), Locomotor Disability including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured,
Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims and Muscular Dystrophy with disability i.e. One leg
affected (R or L) (OL) or One arm affected (R or L (OA) or Cerebral Palsy (CP) or
Leprosy Cured (LC) or Dwarfism (DW) or Acid Attack Victims (AAV),. Autism,
Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability and Mental liness with disability
i.e. Specific Learning Disability (SLD) including deaf- blindness. The vacancies are also
suitable for candidates belonging to category of Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD)
viz. Deaf and Hard of Hearing with disability i.e .Deaf (D) or Hard of Hearing (HH),
Locomotor Disability including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid
Attack Victims and Muscular Dystrophy with disability i.e. One leg affected (R or L)
(OL) or One arm afected (R or L) (OA) or Cerebral Palsy (CP) or Leprosy Cured
(LC) or Dwarfism (DW) or Acid Attack Victims (AAV), Autism, Intellectual Disability,
Specific Learning Disability and Mental liness with disability i.e. Specific Learning
Disability (SLD), Multiple disabilities (MD) i.e. at least two disabilities from the sub-
categories of the disabilities indicated above including deaf- blindness. The post is
permanent. General Central Service Group- “A” Gazetted (Non-Ministerial). Pay Scale:
Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7h CPC. Age: 35 years. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(A) EDUCATIONAL: Degree in Engineering in Civil or Mechanical or Computer Science or
Information Technology or Aeronautical or Electrical or Electronics disciplines from a
recognized University OR Masters Degree in Science in the subjects of Electronics or Physics
OR B.Sc Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Physics or Electronics as
subjects. (B) EXPERIENCE: TwO years experience for Degree in Engineering/ One year
experience for M.Sc/ Three years experience for B.Sc. in (a) Air Traffic Control with
Aerodrome Control or Approach Control or Area Control rating or (b) Licensing of Aerodromes
or Flight Crew or Air Transport or (c) Management of Airside operations of major or
International Civil Airport or (d) Aircraft flying with Commercial Pilot License or (e) Aircraft
Flying in Defence Services or () Flight operations department of a Schedules Airlines or (g)
Aerodrome Design and Planning. Note: () The period of required experience may also be
considered by combining experience in more than one field listed above. Further, experience
obtained in multiple fields in a particular year will be treated as a single period towards total
