FACULTY OF LIFE-SCIENCES UNIVERSITY OF JAMMU ADVERTISEMENT for Project Associate – I

Applications are invited from the candidates as per the eligibility mentioned below for 03 Positions of Project Associate – I in the DBT, Govt. of India funded research project entitled, “DBT-BUILDER- University of Jammu Interdisciplinary Life Science Programme for Advanced Research and Education”.

The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The applications complete in all respects should reach the office of Department of Botany within 15 days from the date of publishing of the advertisement in the newspaper. The application should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked as, “Application for DBT-BUILDER PROJECT ASSOCIATE”.

Desirable Qualification

Experience in field biology/ Plantbiotech- nology/Genetic Transformation

35 Years

Monthly Emoluments in Rupees

i) 31,000/-pm+16% HRA to candidates who are selected through.

(A) National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC-NET including lec- turership (Assistant Professor- ship), or GATE

(B) A selection process through National level Examinations conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions.

ii) 25,000+16% HRA For others who do not fall under (i) above

*The positions are initially for a period of one year and further extendable based on the progress of the candidate and are co-terminus with the project whichever is earlier.

Interview: Eligible candidates will be informed about the date of interview via email/mobile No. All applicants are required to bring their original documents on the date of interview. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
