Applications only through online filling of Google form (https://forms.gle/RWABuPGb1HRUQ6 ) are invited from the eligible and motivated candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a period of one year only to work in the project “Status, Threats and Challenges: Urgent Plea for Protection and Management of Freshwater Springs of Kashmir Himalava” sanctioned by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India in favour of Dr. Sami Ullah Bhat, Sr. Assistant Professor, Department of Environmental Science, University of Kashmir Srinagar. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Essential qualification
NET/GATE in Environmental Science
Candidates having working experience in the field of water pollution/Aquatic science/spring ecosystems shall be preferred.
Applications along with photocopies of relevant certificates/documents indicating qualification, percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, age, experience and publication (if any), can also be mailed on ([email protected]) in pdf format by or before 21-01-2024.
Note: 1. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of information and documents submitted.
2. Mere, possessing the prescribed qualification does not ensure that the candidate would be selected. The Candidate will be selected on the basis of merit, performance in interview and knowledge related to work elements of the project.
3. TA/DA is not admissible for appearing in the interview.
4. Interview will preferably be held offline and under certain circumstances online interview can be held at the request of the candidate providing reasonable justification for the same.
