Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for temporary positions of junior research fellow and field investigator for the project funded by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Title of the project
About the Project
Project aims to unlock the untapped potential of stone fruit oils and biopoly- mers from weeds found in lakes of J&K to develop Pickering emulsions and formulating functional foods.

Eligibility requirement
1) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) :-
Masters in Food Science & Technology with NET
Desirable
Stabilisation and valorisation of seed oils from stone fruits by
developing nano pickering emulsions
2) Field Investigator:- Bachelors in Science
Preference will be given to candidates with working experience relevant to the project.
For JRF as per DST OM dated 26 June, 2023
Monthly Emoluments
For Field investigator as per DST OM dated 10.07.2020
Interested candidates with the eligibility criteria are instructed to submit their applications complete in all respects to the office of department of Food Science & Technology, University of Kashmir, Srinagar- 190006, by or before 9th March, 2024.
The positions are temporary and co-terminus with the project. Furthermore, no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. The date of interview will be communicated separately through e-mail/ media/ newspaper.
