Applications on plain paper are invited from the eligible candidates for the below mentioned positions available in a research project entitled “An integrative approach to study the taxonomy and distribution of weevils (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) in the North- western Himalaya” sanctioned by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) Govt. of India, New Delhi.

(i) M.Sc. Zoology/ allied subject with not less than 55% marks (ii) Minimum of 2 years research experience with JRF/NET/GATE qualified

Desirable experience

(i) Specialization in forest entomology

(ii) Experience in insect collections and molecular taxonomy

The emoluments for the above positions will be paid as per the Guidelines of the funding agency (SERB-DST) currently in vogue.
