University of Kashmir Advertisement Notice-VII for Contractual Assistant Professors

The University of Kashmir, Srinagar (NAAC A++), through the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs, has invited online applications from eligible candidates. This recruitment is for the engagement of Contractual Assistant Professors purely as an academic arrangement for the Session-2026.

The selected candidates will be positioned for the “Design Your Degree Programme” at the Institute of Technology, Zakura, Srinagar. This initiative aims to integrate multi-disciplinary learning and specialized technical expertise into the academic framework for the upcoming session.

Terms and Conditions

Applicants are advised to stay in regular contact with the concerned Dean of the School regarding the interview schedule, venue, and timing. The engagement is strictly temporary and will terminate at the end of the academic session 2026 or when the position is filled on a substantive basis.

Selected candidates must provide an undertaking sworn before a 1st Class Judicial Magistrate stating they have no right to claim regularization. Wages will be fixed based on the qualifications possessed as of the cut-off date for application submission.

Candidates must ensure they are not currently working in any Government or Semi-Government Department or any other Institute. The university reserves the right to implement changes or discontinue the engagement as deemed fit.
