The Department of Clinical Biochemistry at the University of Kashmir, Hazratbal, Srinagar, has released an advertisement notice for a Research Project position. This recruitment is for a project titled “Evaluation of Genetic Landscape of Cardioprotective Adaptations/Maladaptation’s in High Altitude Tribal Populations of J and K: Insights for Targeted Therapeutic Interventions,” which is sponsored by ANRF under the ARG-2025 scheme.

Position and Number	Essential Qualifications	Desirable Qualifications
Project Assistant (1)	M.Sc in Clinical Biochemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with minimum of 55% of marks or equivalent CGPA grade.	Working experience in Cell culture and cloning techniques. Profound knowledge of medical lab technology. Field experience in conducting Clinical studies. Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC-NET Exam/ GATE or other Equivalent Exams (Preferable).

The position is temporary and co-terminus with the tenure of the project. Emoluments for the selected candidate will be paid according to ANRF guidelines. Shortlisted candidates will be notified regarding the date of the interview through their registered email addresses.
