The University of Kashmir Department of Clinical Biochemistry has issued an advertisement notice (No: F (ANRF-PRJ/FR/CLB)KU/26) for a research project position.

Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistant under the research project titled “Evaluation of Genetic Landscape of Cardioprotective Adaptations/Maladaptation’s in High Altitude Tribal Populations of J and K: Insights for Targeted Therapeutic Interventions.” This project is sponsored by ANRF under the ARG-2025 scheme, Government of India, New Delhi.

Position and Number	Essential Qualifications	Desirable Qualifications
Project Assistant (1)	M.Sc in Clinical Biochemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with minimum of 55% of marks or equivalent CGPA grade.	Working experience in Cell culture and cloning techniques. Profound knowledge of medical lab technology. Field experience in conducting clinical studies. Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC-NET Exam/ GATE or other Equivalent Exams (Preferable).

The position is temporary and co-terminus with the tenure of the project. Emoluments will be paid as per the ANRF guidelines vide: ANRF/OM/N01/2024, dated: 14-10-2024.
