The Office of the Dean School of Engineering, University of Kashmir (KU), Srinagar, has issued an advertisement notice for the engagement of various contractual positions. These roles are specifically for the academic session 2026 at the Institute of Technology, Zakura Campus.

Applications are invited on the prescribed format for positions including Laboratory Assistants, Workshop Instructor, CNC Machine Operator, and Lathe Operator. These appointments are made on an academic arrangement basis to support the engineering departments.

Interested candidates can download the application forms from the official University of Kashmir or Institute of Technology websites. Completed forms, along with relevant documents, must reach the office of the Dean, School of Engineering at Zakura Campus by or before January 31, 2026.

Vacancy Details and Eligibility

Post	Department	Eligibility
Laboratory Assistant	Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Comm, Civil, or Computer Science Engineering	B.Tech / B.E. / Three year Diploma in the relevant Engineering branch.
Workshop Instructor	Mechanical Engineering	B.Tech / B.E. / Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
CNC Machine Operator	Mechanical Engineering	ITI in Mechanical Trade or Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with specialization training in CNC/VMC programming.
Lathe Operator	Mechanical Engineering	Matric and ITI in Mechanical Trade.
Laboratory Assistant (Physics)	Applied Sciences	B.Sc with Physics as one of the subjects in Graduation.
