Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the Domiciles of UT of Jammu & Kashmir for 1 post of Research Investigator and 1 post of Lower Division Clerk (Contractual) in Population Research Centre, University of Kashmir, Srinagar-190 006 (J&K.). The details of post, emoluments, qualification and experience are as under:

Prescribed qualifications
At least Second class Post Graduate Degree in Demography/ Population Studies/ Statistics/ Sociology/ Social Work/ Psychology/Anthropology/ Geography.
Economics/ Mathematics/
Knowledge of Application of Statistical Packages
Bachelors Degree with at least 50% marks or its equivalent on grading scale
Experience
3 Years’ experience in data collection/ analysis and report writing. (Relaxable for candidates with higher qualifications).
IMPORTANT:
The post of Research Investigator is temporary and is likely to continue with continuation of Population Research Centre by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The Post of LDC is purely on contract basis for a period of 1 year or till the financial support for the
post is available from the MOHFW, whichever is earlier. The prescribed application forms and detailed terms and conditions are available on the University
