The University of Ladakh, Department of Political Science, Kargil Campus has issued an advertisement notice (Notification no: ICSSR-NWRC/MP/KGL/16-2026) for recruitment. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement in the research project titled “Agha Ibrahim Shah’s Legacy in Kargil District of the UT of Ladakh and the Vision for Viksit Bharat 2047.” The project is funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), North-Western Regional Centre.

Nature of Work
- Conduct field interviews in selected areas
- Collect and organise primary and secondary data
- Assist project director in all research related work
Terms and Conditions
- The appointment shall be purely temporary for the period of two months and shall not confer any right to claim regular employment in the university.
- Shortlisted candidates will have informed through email/telephone regarding the date and venue of the interview.
- The selected candidates will be required to join immediately or within the period specifies in the appointment letter.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
- The interview shall be conducted offline (in person) at the designated venue.
