Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Guest Faculty in the University of Ladakh for the Academic Session 2026–27. Eligibility Criteria & Required Documents

Qualifications: Minimum qualifications prescribed under the UGC Regulations, 2018, as amended from time to time, for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor in the concerned subject. (UGC विनियम 2018 के तहत सहायक प्रोफेसर पद हेतु निर्धारित न्यूनतम योग्यताएँ।)
Documents Required for Interview:
- Original certificates/testimonials in support of educational qualifications and experience.
- One set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates and testimonials.
- One recent passport-size photograph.

Terms & Conditions

The engagement shall be purely temporary and on a stop-gap basis, conferring no claim or right for regular appointment.
The engagement shall continue until a contractual or regular faculty member is appointed in the concerned department.
Preference shall be accorded to local candidates, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria and university requirements.
No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the interview.
The decision of the University regarding selection and engagement shall be final and binding.
