ADVERTISEMENT NOTIFICATION

Consequent upon the approval conveyed by the Chief Education Officer Srinagar vide communication No.CEO/Sgr/SmS/101-103/26 dated 25.04.2026, the AAYAS of the Middle and Primary Schools who have resigned as AAYAS are hereby re-advertised and therefore applications are invited from eligible female candidates only for engagement/hiring of Helpers/AAYAs under ECCE for the year 2026-27. The age of a candidate must be between 18-37 years as on 1st Jan 2026.

The selection of helper/AAYAs shall be restricted to village/ward in respect of rural/urban area. The engagement of helper/AAYA shall be purely terminus and shall start from the date they are engaged/hired and shall conclude with the end of the academic session. It may be extendable, subject to the performance and the approval of funds from the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, in the particular component. The minimum qualification of a Helper/AAYA shall be having passed 8th Examination.

Eligibility Criteria & Guidelines / पात्रता मानदंड एवं दिशानिर्देश:

Age Limit / आयु सीमा: Between 18 to 37 years as on 1st January 2026.

Minimum Academic Qualification: Passed 8th Examination. (In case there is no eligible candidate available in the ward, a candidate with lesser qualification shall be considered).

Required Documents to be attached with application:

Fresh Domicile Certificate
BPL Category Certificate
Fitness Certificate
Academic Qualification Certificate (8th Pass)

Order of Priority / Preference (BPL Category):

Widow of the jurisdictional ward belonging to BPL Category.
Divorced female of the jurisdictional ward belonging to BPL Category.
Orphan of the jurisdictional ward belonging to BPL Category.
Female belonging to BPL Category and older in age than the rest of BPL candidates.

Honorarium / मानदेय:

Honorarium of Rs. 5,000/- per month will be paid to the engaged/hired AAYA/HELPER under ECCE as per approval in PAB of Samagra Shiksha.

Application Form Availability: Desirous female candidates can collect the application form from the Office of the Zonal Education Officer Batamaloo during working days between 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM.

The Office of the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Batamaloo functions under the Directorate of School Education Kashmir and CEO Srinagar to manage primary and middle school administration across the Batamaloo zone.

Samagra Shiksha J&K Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Helper and Aaya engagements provide community-level employment for eligible female candidates and support foundational pre-primary schooling in government institutions in Srinagar.
