The detailed guidelines/tenns and conditions issued by Directorate of SAMAGRA Shiksha J&K vide order No.: 07-OF CHIRAG-2023 Dated: 09-01-2023 with regard to eligibility, educational

qualification, domicile, age honorarium etc. are as under.

1. SELECTION PROCESS:

The Selection of Helper/AAYA shall be restricted to Village/Ward in respect of Rural/Urban area, where approved school is located.

2. NATURE OF DEPLOYMENT:

1. The deployment of a Helper/AAYA shall be purely terminus and shall start from the date, they are engaged/hired and shall conclude with the end of academic session. It may

be extendable, subject to the performance and the approval of funds, from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, in the particular component. Affidavit from 1st Class

Magistrate shall be taken from the candidate at the time of joining, for not claiming to permanent absorption at any stage.

ii. All decisions of the funding agency (SAMAGRA Shiksha, J&K under the aegis of School Education Department) shall be implemented in this regard.

3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF HELPER/AAYA:

1. The candidate may be female only

ii. The candidate should be a Domicile of the said Village in case of Rural Area and Ward in case of urban area, where Approved school is located. The candidate must possess Do-

micile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, on or before the last date of submission of offline application form.

iii. Candidate must be belonging to BPL (Below Poverty Line) category.

iv. The candidate must be physically/mentally fit to carry-out her job.

4. QUALIFICATION REQUIRED/PREFERENCE:

1. The candidate must possess minimum qualification: 8th Class Passed on or before the cut-off date fixed for filling offline application form. In case there is no eligible candidate

available in the Village/Wand, the candidate with lesser qualification shall be considered.

ii. Candidates may note that their candidature will remain provisional till the genuineness of their documents relating to educational qualification is verified by the engaging/

hiring Authority.

iii. In case of candidates daiming possession of equivalent educational qualification (where it is applicable/required), it shall be mandatory to produce relevant Equivalence

Certificate or seek equivalence from the concemed competent authorities as and when required. However, final decision regarding selection of such candidates will be taken

by higher authorities, in light of relevant rules which shall be binding.

iv. Preference shall be given to the candidates from BPL Category in the below mentioned order of Priority:
