In pursuance to the above communication, following guide lines are issued for the engagement / hiring of Helpers /AAYAS under Early Childhood Care &
Education (ECCE] for the year 2023-24 in below mentioned schools of this zone.
SELECTION PROCESS:
The selection of Helper/AAYA shall be restricted to Village /Ward in respect of Rural/Urban area, where approved school is located.
Process for Engagement of Helper /AAYA shall be given wide publicity at the Village /Panchayat Halqa/Muncipal Ward/Zonal Level.
A. NATURE OF DEPLOYMENT:
B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF HELPER/AAYA:
1) Only female candidates may be deployed.
2) The helper deployed must be a domicile of the village in case of Rural area and Ward in case of Urban area, where approved school is located.
3) Candidate must be belonging to BPL (Below Poverty Line) category.
4) The candidate must be physically/mentally fit to carry out her job.
C. QUALIFICATION/PREFERENCE:
Preference shall be given to candidates from BPL category in the below mentioned order of priority:
1) Widow
2) Divorced
3) Orphan
4) Any candidate among the poorest of the poor in the Village /ward.
D. Age:
The age of a candidate must be between 18-45 years as on 1st of January of the deployment year.
E Honorarium: Rs. 5000 (Five Thousands only) per month, which may vary as per the approval in the subsequent year in PAB of Samagra Shiksha.

The Helper/AAYA for Pre-Primary Sections of Govt Schools shall have to perform below mentioned suggestive tasks:
Escorting the Children at their arrival, departure, between activities (for example while moving to out door areas, play ground and toilet etc)
Maintaining the hygiene of the children – Toileting, hand washing, deanliness of children etc.

3) Helping the teacher in preparing class for activities like setting up the material, making the arrangements for day to day activities.
4) Assisting the children in taking food under the supervision of teacher, under PM POSHAN (MDM).
5) Any other assignment given by HOI for the proper care of children.
In pursuance to above, the desirous candidates from below mentioned Schools should submit their application on plain paper with all documentary evidence
in this office within ten days from the date of advertisement

The deployment of a Helper /AAYA shall be purely terminus and shall start from the date, they are engaged/hired and shall conclude with the end of
academic session. It may be extendable, subject to the performance and the approval of funds, from the Ministry of Education, Government of India,
in particular component. Affidavit from 1st class Magistrate shall be taken from the candidate at the time of joining, for not claiming for permanent
absorption at any stage.
All decisions of funding agency (Samagra Shiksha, J&K shall be implemented in this regard.
