Online Application is Mandatory Addendum to Advt. No. 156
Reference DRDO Advt. no. 156 published on the RAC website on 30th May 2025 for recruitment to 152 posts of Scientist ‘B’ in DRDO, ADA, and various establishments under Ministry of Defence.
In addition to the previous 152 posts already published in the advertisement, a total of three vacancies for the post of Scientist ‘B’ have been added as per the requirement of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India. The details of the vacancies are given below:
Table A: The recruitment in the disciplines mentioned below will be based on valid GATE score and Personal Interview.

#These vacancies have been added to the overall vacancies, and are specifically for DST.
With the inclusion of these vacancies, Electronics & Comm. Engg will have a total of 41 vacancies, Mechanical Engg will have a total of 35 vacancies, and Mathematics will have a total of four (04) vacancies.
Important Instructions:
i) Age limit for the DST posts is as follows:

Relaxation in upper age limit will be as per Govt. rules mentioned in Para 1.1(iv) of the Advt. no. 156.
ii) Essential Qualification for the DST posts:
While the Essential Qualification requirements are as mentioned in Table 1 of the original advertisement, there is no requirement of First Class/Division in the qualifying degree, specifically for these posts. Accordingly, candidates meeting the specified degree qualifications, irrespective of Class/Division, are eligible to apply against vacancies of DST.
III) Except for the criterion related to Division/Class of the qualifying degree mentioned above, all other eligibility criteria, overall requirements, terms & conditions, selection process, as well as closing date of application receipt shall remain unchanged as mentioned in the original advertisement. iv) Candidates are required to indicate their preferences for DRDO, ADA, DST, CME, WESEE, AFMC, Selection Centres/Boards under MoD (whichever is applicable).
