**The Candidate should have obtained atleast 60% or equivalent CGPI in Minimum Educational Qualification.

CONCESSIONS/RELAXATIONS

1. The upper age limit mentioned under “Eligibility and desired qualification/experience” is relaxable by 10 years for Persons with disabilities.
2. Upper age limit is relaxable for Ex-Servicemen.
3. The upper age limit mentioned under “Eligibility and desired qualification/experience” is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non Creamy Layer), 10 years for PwD- General/ EWS, 13 years for PwD-OBC (NCL) and 15 years for PwD-SC/ST.

PLACE OF POSTING

The place of posting shall be at National Capital Region (NCR). However, the place of posting can be anywhere in India and abroad depending upon the organizational requirement.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The hiring shall be purely on fixed term basis initially for a period of 2 Years (as applicable), and further extendable if required, until completion of the assignment and subject to satisfactory performance, for a maximum period of 3 (Three) years from the initial date of joining.

2. Unless the services are terminated earlier, the hiring shall stand automatically terminated on the expiry of the aforesaid period.
3. Candidates shall be required to work anywhere in India and abroad depending on the requirement.
4. The selected candidates shall be allowed to join only if found medically fit.
5. No claim for regular appointment in EIL by virtue of having worked on fixed term basis will be entertained.

SCREENING & PERSONAL INTERVIEW

On the day of interview, applications and the certificates of the candidates will be screened to ascertain their eligibility for the post applied. Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements in all respects only will be considered for further selection process. Hence, the candidates in their own interest are advised to fill correct and complete details in the application and also carry all documents in support of the information given in the application.

As screening and selection will be based on the details provided in the on-line application form, hence it is necessary that only accurate, full and correct information is furnished by the applicants. Furnishing of wrong/false information will be a disqualification and EIL will NOT be responsible for disqualification as a consequence of furnishing of such wrong/false information.

Candidates meeting the eligibility will be required to appear for the Personal Interview. Depending on the number of candidates, interviews may be held up to 08.00 p.m. on the same day and if required, will be continued on the next day also. In such case, the candidates shall make their own arrangement for stay.

3. Proof of Norms adopted by University/ Institute to convert CGPA/OGPA/CPI or letter grade in a qualifying degree. In case, the candidate is not able to produce the documentary proof/ certificate to this effect from the Institute/University in support of the percentage marks entered at the time of interview, the percentage will be calculated as per the table given below and eligibility of the candidate for appearing in interview shall be established accordingly:

1. Experience Certificates for all the experiences declared in application in original. The certificates should clearly indicate the date of joining, date of separation and nature of works handled.

2. In addition to the Experience Certificate, on demand, the candidates shall also produce further documents like offer letter, confirmation order, pay slips, PF statement, ESI Card, Bank Statement, etc., to substantiate the employment.
3. Candidates presently working, shall produce offer letter, confirmation order, pay slips, Identity Card, PF statement, ESI Card, Bank Statement, etc., to substantiate their employment.

4. SC/ ST Certificate (in original), in the prescribed format from competent authority, if applicable

10. In case of non-availability of any original document to meet the eligibility criteria, candidate will not be considered for further selection process.

STEPS FOR APPLYING

STEP 1: Eligible candidates need to apply through on-line registration system on EIL website.

To apply visit the career link in EIL website i.e STEP 2:Read CAREFULLY all the instructions given on the website. STEP 3:Fill in the online form with all the relevant correct details. While filling the percentage of marks in the application, please round off percentage of marks to lower whole number e.g. for 60.9, write 60 .

Please round off CGPA to the lower decimal e.g. for 6.95, write 6.9 STEP 4:The candidate before starting online registration should keep the properly scanned copies (readable form), of the following documents / certificates ready for uploading during registration of application:

a)Latest Passport size colour photograph in .jpg/.jpeg format of not more than 75 KB size b)Signature in .jpg/.jpeg format of not more than 25 KB size STEP 5:The candidates are not required to send the print out of the registered application form filled on line. They need to take the printout of the application form (6 copies), affix colour photograph and bring the same while reporting for walk in interview. STEP 6:The cut-off date of post-qualification relevant experience and upper age is 31.08.2025.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1. The cut-off date for educational qualification, required experience and upper age limit is 31.08.2025.
2. Online submission of application will be permitted on the website between 0000 hrs on 10.09.2025 till 2359 hrs on 24.09.2025.

3. Only candidates meeting eligibility conditions in all respects are required to apply. If at any stage, it is found that the candidate does not meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, he/she will be disqualified. EIL reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
4. In case a candidate wishes to apply in more than one area, he should fill separate applications for each post/area. All such applications should be complete in all respects, including enclosures.

5. The e-mail address specified in the application should be valid/ functional for at least 24 months from the date of the submission of application. Intimation for selection or any other correspondence shall be sent by email. Kindly ensure that your email is valid and operational.
6. Any change in advertisement/ clarification/ corrigendum, etc., if required, shall be published in EIL’s website www.engineersindia.com only. No separate press notification will be issued.

7. In case it is found at any stage that the candidate is either not meeting the requirements as laid down in the advertisement or has given incorrect information while filling up the on-line application form, his/her candidature shall be cancelled.
8. Candidates shall make their own arrangements for travel and stay. No allowances will be paid.

9. Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi.

10. EIL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and/or the selection process there under without assigning any reason.
11. Candidates selected shall be required to join within 15 days of announcement of results by mail/ publication in website. Hence, candidates who are willing to join within the stipulated time shall appear for the walk-in interview.
