ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IUST AWANTIPORA RESEARCH ASSISTANT JOB OPPORTUNITIES 2025 RE-ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE

Applications on prescribed format are invited from the eligible and interested candidates for the position of Research Assistant in a research project on “Privacy-Preserving Pandemic Tracing Using Smart Contracts in Blockchain (B-IoT).”

The project has been sanctioned by the JK Science Technology and Innovation Council, Government of J&K.

This is a purely temporary engagement and is co-terminus with the duration of the project.

Eligibility	B.Tech CSE/IT with minimum of 60% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed)
Desirable	GATE/NET/SET, M.Tech in relevant field, Relevant research experience

General Instructions

The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Candidates cannot claim regular appointments at the university.

The university reserves the right to terminate the contract of non-performing candidates at any time without prior notice.

The salary is subject to the release of funds by the funding agency.

Eligible candidates must bring all testimonials and certificates (original and one attested copy) to the interview.

No TA/DA will be provided for candidates appearing for the interview.

The university reserves the right to defer or not to fill the advertised post without giving any reason.

If a candidate wants to withdraw, they must serve one month’s notice or forfeit one month’s salary.

The terms and conditions will be as per the university and/or funding agency rules and regulations, with amendments from time to time.
