Research Exposure-cum-Training Programme
ARCI, an autonomous R&D Centre of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India is hosting a fully funded “Research Exposure-cum-Training Programme for the Students from North-Eastern States and UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh region under INSPIRE Scheme of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India (Gol).
The main objective of the programme is to impart training to the talented students from the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura UT’s of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh region for pursuing research career in frontier areas of Science, Technology and Innovation. The details of the programme as follows:

Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura (North-Eastern States), UT’s of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
Students currently pursuing their final year/final semester of B.Tech./M.Tech. (in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Materials technology, Ceramics, Nano Materials) OR M.Sc. (in Physics, Chemistry, Nano- technology, Materails stream). They should have completed their B.Tech./M.Tech./M.Sc. in the year 2023 or they shall be expected to complete in the current year 2024 respectively.
Financial Support to the selected students
a) To & fro single second class train fare.
b) Free boarding, lodging (on twin sharing basis)
and local transport will be provided at Hyderabad.
c) A monthly stipend of Rs. 5000/- per month per student will be paid.
How the selected students will be benefitted
a) Students will get an opportunity to interact with the pioneers in the respective research areas.
b) Students will acquire hands on working experience on high end R&D equipments.
c) Students will get an opportunity to prepare themselves for competitive examinations
