Government Medical College Baramulla (GMC Baramulla) has released an official recruitment notification for the posts of Junior Residents in various departments.

The engagement is initially for a period of six months, extendable up to a maximum of one year based on work performance. Candidates who have already completed a Junior Residency or House Job for one year or more in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible to apply.

The selection process will be based on the merit obtained in a Screening Test or Written Examination, the date of which will be notified separately on the official website.

Affidavit as prescribed in Annexure A, duly attested by a 1st Class Judicial Magistrate.

Terms and Conditions:

Selected candidates are not entitled to private practice or simultaneous part-time/full-time jobs.
The first month’s salary will be kept as a security deposit and released only after successful completion of the tenure.
Leaving the department before the sanctioned tenure will result in forfeiture of the security deposit and non-issuance of the experience certificate.
