BIRAC E-YUVA Centre, Department of Biotechnology at University of Kashmir has announced the 4th National Call for Proposals under the Innovation Fellowship Scheme focusing on Innovation, Research, and Entrepreneurship.
बीरैक ई-युवा केंद्र, जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग, कश्मीर विश्वविद्यालय ने नवाचार, अनुसंधान और उद्यमिता पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हुए इनोवेशन फेलोशिप योजना के तहत प्रस्तावों के लिए चौथे राष्ट्रीय कॉल की घोषणा की है।
Candidates holding a Masters or Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology or any Life Science Domain are eligible to apply for this scheme.
जैव प्रौद्योगिकी या किसी भी जीवन विज्ञान क्षेत्र में स्नातकोत्तर (Masters) या पीएचडी धारण करने वाले उम्मीदवार इस योजना के लिए आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं।
The fellowship provides a research grant of ₹5 Lakh per year for Ph.D. candidates and ₹3 Lakh per year for P.G. candidates. The monthly fellowship amount is ₹50,000 for Ph.D. holders and ₹30,000 for P.G. degree holders. The duration of the fellowship is 18 months, with a provision of extension by 6 months.
यह फेलोशिप पीएचडी उम्मीदवारों के लिए ₹5 लाख प्रति वर्ष और पीजी उम्मीदवारों के लिए ₹3 लाख प्रति वर्ष का शोध अनुदान प्रदान करती है। पीएचडी धारकों के लिए मासिक फेलोशिप राशि ₹50,000 और पीजी डिग्री धारकों के लिए ₹30,000 है। फेलोशिप की अवधि 18 महीने है, जिसमें 6 महीने के विस्तार का प्रावधान है।
The eligible research and innovation domains include Diagnostics and Medical Devices, Drug, drug formulations & delivery systems, Vaccines, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Industrial Biotechnology, Agriculture and Allied Areas, Clean Energy, and Artificial Intelligence with application in any of the above areas.

The Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) is a schedule B Public Sector Enterprise set up by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. It acts as an interface agency to strengthen and empower emerging biotech enterprises to undertake strategic research and innovation, addressing nationally relevant product development needs.
