Government Medical College (GMC), Srinagar, has released an official advertisement notice for the recruitment of Senior Residents and Demonstrators across various medical disciplines. The positions are offered on an Academic Arrangement basis initially for one year, extendable up to three years.

Qualified medical professionals who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are invited to apply for these tenure posts. The selection process will primarily be based on performance in an MCQ-based written test as per government regulations.

1-6	Anesthesiology, General Medicine, Paediatrics, Pathology, Pharmacology, Radiation Oncology	MD/MS/DNB from an Institution duly recognized by the NMC in the concerned discipline.
7	Paediatric Anesthesiology	D.M. (Paediatric and Neonatal Anesthesia) OR M.D./DNB (Anaesthesia).
11-16	Cardiology, CVTS, Endocrinology, Neurosurgery, Nephrology, Plastic Surgery	D.M./DNB/DrNB or M.Ch./DNB/DrNB in the respective specialty from an NMC recognized institution.
19	Geriatrics	MD/DNB in Medical Geriatrics or General Medicine from a recognized institution.
