The National Institute of Technology Srinagar (Hazratbal, Kashmir) has announced a recruitment notification for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). This position is part of a project funded by IIIT Hyderabad iHub-Data.

The project, titled “EcoEdgeAI – Aerial Edge Vision System for Real-Time Monitoring of Plastic Waste in Freshwater Ecosystems,” is under the supervision of Principal Investigator Dr. Veningston K. This opportunity allows candidates to work at the intersection of Environmental monitoring and Advanced AI technology.

Essential Qualification	1. B.E. / B. Tech. in CSE/IT/ECE or relevant degree with minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 60% AND M.E. / M. Tech in CSE/IT/Electronics with minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 60%. (OR) B.E / B. Tech (4-year) in CSE/IT/ECE with valid GATE score and minimum CGPA of 8.0 or 75%.
Desirable	Working knowledge on Computer Vision, Edge AI, Tiny ML and IoT.
Emoluments	Rs. 37,000/- per month [HRA is not applicable]
Registration for PhD	Selected candidates may register for PhD Programme under the PI if eligible as per institute rules.
