Eligible candidates are invited to send the applications to attend the interview for the following contractual positions.

1. DBT funded Network project on wheat entitled “Germplasm Characterization and Trait Discovery in Wheat using Genomics Approaches and its Integration for Improving Climate Resilience, Productivity, and Nutritional Quality”

Date of termination: February 28, 2027

2. ICAR-Funded CABIN Project entitled “Identifications of Genes/Genomic regions associated with Fusarium head blight resistance in Wheat”

Date of termination: March 2026

At ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (ICAR-NBPGR), New Delhi-110012. The appointment will be on a purely temporary basis or till the termination of the scheme.

in Breeding/Agricultural Science/ Biotechnology/Plant statistics/Statistics/ Computer Computer application or Equivalent with Four years or Five years of Bachelor’s degree

Having 3-2 years Bachelor’s Degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience.

Desirable

Knowledge of Statistical and Computational Genomics/ Bioinformatics

Knowledge of Programming in LINUX/R/Perl/ JAVA/PHP/JSP and use of various software and tools.

Rs.37,000/- per month IIRA (as per Central Government norms) for First and Second Year and Rs.42,000/-+ HRA (as per Central Government norms) for third year.
