JRF RECRUITMENT-CALL FOR APPLICATION

1. The Department of Applied Physics of this Institute is looking for young Scientists/Engineers for the position of ‘Junior Research Fellow (JRF)’ to work under Govt. of India sponsored research project entitled “Investigation of Laser-Assisted Photoacoustic Wave Generation for Underwater Communication”. Essential: M.Tech/ME in Electronics Science /Laser & Elcetro-optics/Laser Technology/Applied Optics/Photonics/ Opto-Electronics and Optical Communication/ Electronics Engg./ Electronics & Comm. Engg./Instrumentation Engg./or equivalent

Specialization: Candidate with knowledge in FPGA Programming/DSP With FPGA /Communication with FPGA/ Optical System Designing/ Optical System Design using software tools/ hands-on experience in working with optics or communication systems

Not to exceed 28 Years. (*)

Rs. 37,000/-+ 30%HRA per month

The positions are temporary for a period of 02 years (OR) Co- terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

Note:

1) The prescribed date for determining the upper age limit, educational qualifications and/ or experience shall be the last date for submitting applications is 18th Dec 2024. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST, Women & PwBD and 03 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.

2) Recruited Fellows shall be encouraged to register for a Ph.D. at this institute through proper channels as per DIAT norms.

3) In addition to the monthly stipend, medical facilities limited to MI Room facilities shall be extended to the incumbent.

4) The mode of interview will be “in-person” or “via video conferencing,” whichever is suitable to DIAT, and it will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates.

5) Based on the technical requirements, the selected Fellows may be sent to a Ministry of Earth Science Laboratories/ for Sea/Dam trials during the execution of the said research project.

6) Candidates with any national fellowship can also apply to work on this research project.

3. Based on the suitability for the project, the applicants will be called for an interview (in person or via video conference). The shortlisted (for the interview) candidate will be individually informed via email. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview of any mode.
