Bank of Baroda has invited online applications from Indian citizens for engagement as apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 (as amended from time to time).

बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा ने अप्रेंटिसशिप अधिनियम 1961 के तहत अप्रेंटिस के रूप में नियुक्ति के लिए भारतीय नागरिकों से ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं।

Total Training Seats: 5000 vacancies across India (State/UT wise distribution).

कुल प्रशिक्षण सीटें: भारत भर में 5000 रिक्तियां (राज्य/केंद्र शासित प्रदेश वार वितरण)।

Important Dates: Online Registration starts: 19 May 2026 | Last Date: 08 June 2026.

महत्वपूर्ण तिथियां: ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण प्रारंभ: 19 मई 2026 | अंतिम तिथि: 08 जून 2026।

Duration of Training: 12 months of On-the-Job Training. Stipend: Rs. 15,000/- per month.

प्रशिक्षण अवधि: 12 महीने का ऑन-द-जॉब प्रशिक्षण। वजीफा: 15,000 रुपये प्रति माह।

Educational Qualification (as on 01.05.2026): Graduation Degree in any Discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

शैक्षिक योग्यता (01.05.2026 को): किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से किसी भी विषय में स्नातक डिग्री या केंद्र सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त कोई समकक्ष योग्यता।

Age Limit (as on 01.05.2026): Minimum 20 years, Maximum 28 years. Relaxation as per Government of India guidelines (SC/ST-5 years, OBC-3 years, PwBD-10/13/15 years).

No negative marking. Medium: Hindi/English. Remotely proctored exam from candidate’s location.

⚠️ Important Conditions:

– Candidates should NOT have undergone Apprenticeship earlier in any establishment.

– Candidates with training/job experience of 1 year or more after qualification are NOT eligible.

– This is NOT a regular employment in the Bank. No right to claim employment after training.

– Candidates must select State/UT and up to 3 preferred training locations within that State.

– Local language proficiency test required. Exemption if studied local language in 10th/12th.

Bank of Baroda, one of India’s largest public sector banks, has announced a massive recruitment drive for 5000 apprentices across all States and Union Territories under the Apprenticeship Act 1961.

Eligible candidates must be graduates in any discipline aged 20-28 years as on 01.05.2026 with age relaxation for reserved categories. The apprenticeship duration is 12 months with a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000.

Selection will be based on an online examination (100 marks, 60 minutes) covering General/Financial Awareness, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, and General English. No negative marking. Exam will be remotely proctored.

Candidates must first register on the Government apprenticeship portals (NAPS/NATS) before applying for Bank of Baroda’s opportunity. Application fee ranges from Rs. 200 to Rs. 800 depending on category.

For J&K and Ladakh, only 2 seats each (UR category) are available. Local language proficiency in Urdu/Hindi (J&K) or Urdu/Ladakh/Bhoti (Ladakh) is required.

This is not a regular bank job. Apprentices will be trainees, not employees, and have no claim to regularization. Applications close on 8th June 2026.
