Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of Contractual Assistant Instructors/Instructors purely as academic arrangement for the Session-2025 at Institute of Music & Fine Arts, University of Kashmir.

The hard copy of the downloaded application form completed in all respects along with relevant documents should be submitted in the office of Dean, School of Arts, Languages & Literature, University of Kashmir.

Eligibility

Master’s degree from a recognized University in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade points.

Desirable: NET/SET/Ph.D.

B.MUS in concerned subject with 55% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Terms & Conditions:

The applicants/Candidates in their own interest are advised to be in touch with the concerned Dean of the School about date, venue and time of the interview.

The applicants/candidates shall be required to deposit fee of Rs 250/= per application form and Rs 100/= extra for every additional application form through online mode only.

The select candidates shall have to submit an undertaking duly sworn in before the 1st class Judicial Magistrate to the effect that;

i) The engagement shall be purely on need basis for the academic session-2025 and shall be terminated by the end of academic session or till the position is filled on substantive basis, whichever is earlier.

1) The select candidate/s shall have no right, whatsoever, to claim for continuation or regularization on the basis of the above mentioned need based engagement.

iv) He/she is in agreement with all terms & conditions as laid down in the advertisement notice dated 05-02-2025 in addition to other terms & conditions which the University may deem fit to implement from time-to-time including discontinuation.

v) He/she is not working in any Government or Semi-Government Department or any other Institute etc.

Wages of the appointees shall be fixed on the basis of their qualification possessed as on cut off/last date for submission of applications.
