Online applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Project Assistant (PA) under the JKST&IC-funded research project titled “Design & Deployment of Smart Weather Stations for Hyperlocal Data-Driven Precision Horticulture in J&K”.
JKST&IC द्वारा वित्तपोषित शोध परियोजना शीर्षक “Design & Deployment of Smart Weather Stations for Hyperlocal Data-Driven Precision Horticulture in J&K” के तहत प्रोजेक्ट असिस्टेंट (PA) के पद के लिए प्रेरित और पात्र उम्मीदवारों से ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं।

| Eligibility | Essential Qualification: B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (EE) / Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or an allied discipline with 55% or equivalent percentage of marks. |
| Desirable | Practical experience in IoT System Development, Embedded System Programming, and Python. |
| Duration | Initially for a period of six months, extendable based on performance and subject to the availability of funds. |

Applicants are required to apply online through the University website (www.iust.ac.in). The last date for submission of online applications shall be 18.10.26. Hardcopies of application forms alongwith all relevant documents/certificates should be submitted to the Office, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, by 19.10.26. No other mode of application shall be accepted.

Terms & Conditions
1. Only eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on merit and called for interview in physical mode before the Selection Committee at the IUST, Awantipora campus.
1. केवल पात्र उम्मीदवारों को योग्यता के आधार पर शॉर्टलिस्ट किया जाएगा और IUST, अवंतीपोरा परिसर में चयन समिति के समक्ष भौतिक मोड में साक्षात्कार के लिए बुलाया जाएगा।
2. The candidates should bring their original documents regarding qualifications/experience/publications etc. at the time of interview.
2. उम्मीदवारों को साक्षात्कार के समय अपनी योग्यता/अनुभव/प्रकाशन आदि से संबंधित मूल दस्तावेज लाने होंगे।
3. The Selection Committee reserves the right not to fill up the post in case the Committee didn’t find any candidate suitable for the position.
3. यदि समिति को पद के लिए कोई उम्मीदवार उपयुक्त नहीं मिलता है तो चयन समिति के पास पद न भरने का अधिकार सुरक्षित है।
4. The engagement is purely temporary, performance-based and co-terminus with the project.
4. यह जुड़ाव पूरी तरह से अस्थायी, प्रदर्शन-आधारित और परियोजना के सह-समाप्त है।
5. The selected candidate must join within 07 days from the date of issuance of the appointment order.
5. चयनित उम्मीदवार को नियुक्ति आदेश जारी होने की तारीख से 07 दिनों के भीतर शामिल होना होगा।
6. Payment of salary is subject to release of funds by the funding agency.

7. The University reserves the right to cancel the post without assigning any reason.

8. In case a selected candidate wishes to resign before completion of the engagement, a one-month notice or one month’s emoluments in lieu thereof shall be required.
8. यदि कोई चयनित उम्मीदवार कार्यकाल पूरा होने से पहले इस्तीफा देना चाहता है, तो एक महीने का नोटिस या उसके बदले एक महीने का वेतन आवश्यक होगा।
9. The appointment shall be governed by the rules, regulations and guidelines of the University and the funding agency, as amended from time to time.
9. नियुक्ति समय-समय पर यथासंशोधित विश्वविद्यालय और फंडिंग एजेंसी के नियमों, विनियमों और दिशानिर्देशों द्वारा शासित होगी।
10. The details of the project may be obtained from the PI on any working day during the office hours.
10. परियोजना का विवरण किसी भी कार्य दिवस पर कार्यालय समय के दौरान पीआई से प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।
11. No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview.
