The Coffee Board of India serves as the friend, philosopher and guide to the Coffee sector covering the entire value chain. The ‘Coffee Board’ was established through a constitutional act “Coffee Act VII of 1942” under the administrative control of Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The core activities are primarily directed towards research & development, transfer of technology, quality improvement, extending development support to growing sector, promotion of coffee in export and domestic markets.

The Coffee Board has also been implementing entrepreneurship development programmes resulting in the establishment of a large number of innovative coffee businesses. Towards formalizing and intensifying its efforts at entrepreneurship development including provision of handholding and mentoring support to coffee startups, Central Coffee Research Institute has established AIC-CCRI-CED a Technology Business Incubator at the Coffee Board’s Head Office in Bengaluru in Collaboration with Central Coffee Research Institute (CCRI) and Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) to support and nurture startups in the Coffee Sector.

The Coffee Board aims to increase the consumption of coffee in the Domestic market by inculcating the Coffee culture in Tier 1, 2, 3 cities/towns and also create awareness, develop skills among the coffee stakeholders and coffee lovers.

In this context, the Coffee Board has setup a dedicated Skill Development Cell (SDC) under the administrative control of Atal Incubation Center of Coffee Board (AIC-CCRI-CED). All the Capacity building training programs and awareness programs related to Coffee Sector will be delivered under the Skill Development Cell of Coffee Board and AIC-CCR-CED will monitor and implement the skilling programs in coordination with Coffee Quality, Research and Extension Departments of Coffee Board.

AIC-CCRI-CED invites applications from the eligible Indian citizens for the following positions purely on ad-hoc and contractual basis. All positions would be based in Bengaluru although outstation travel, as required, is envisaged.
