EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION FOR NON-FACULTY POSTS (ON CONTRACT BASIS)

APPLICATION: Online applications are invited for following non-faculty post purely on contract basis.

गैर-संकाय पदों के लिए रोजगार अधिसूचना (अनुबंध के आधार पर)। आवेदन: विशुद्ध रूप से अनुबंध के आधार पर निम्नलिखित गैर-संकाय पदों के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं।

1. IMPORTANT DATES:

महत्वपूर्ण तिथियां: ऑनलाइन आवेदन शुरू होने की तिथि: 11.06.2026। ऑनलाइन आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि: 25.06.2026। हार्ड कॉपी जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि: 30.06.2026। साक्षात्कार का स्थान: अकादमिक ब्लॉक, 5वीं मंजिल, एम्स विजयपुर, जम्मू।

2. DETERMINATION OF MERIT:

The selection of candidate will be based on Applied Test/ Interview of 100 marks. All tie cases (more than one candidate having same marks in the cut-off of merit list) will be resolved on the basis of date of birth. Older candidate (earlier date of birth) will be ranked above younger candidate.

योग्यता का निर्धारण: उम्मीदवार का चयन 100 अंकों के एप्लाइड टेस्ट/साक्षात्कार पर आधारित होगा। समान अंक होने पर अधिक आयु वाले उम्मीदवार को वरीयता दी जाएगी।

3. APPLICATION FORM:

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates possessing prescribed qualifications for various technician posts mentioned above purely on contract basis. Please fill the application carefully. Any amendment / rectification / change / editing is NOT allowed in Name / Date of Birth / Post applied Category etc. Applicants may note that no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

आवेदन पत्र: योग्य उम्मीदवारों से उपरोक्त तकनीशियन पदों के लिए आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं। आवेदन पत्र सावधानीपूर्वक भरें, किसी भी संशोधन की अनुमति नहीं होगी।

4. ELIGIBILITY NORMS:

a. Cut-off date to determine the eligibility is the last date of filling up online application form. To be eligible for selection for these posts, the candidate must have passed the qualifying degree examination & result should be declared to this effect on or before the last date of filling up of application form. Only such experience will be considered which is acquired after obtaining the qualifying degree/diploma, as applicable.

b. Candidates who have been awarded degrees from foreign Universities / Medical Colleges should enclose “Equivalence Certificates” issued by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi / NMC, as applicable.

c. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to assess his / her own eligibility for the post for which he/she is applying in accordance with the prescribed qualification, experience etc. and submit his / her online application duly filled-in along with the desired information, documents and other supporting materials as per the advertisement. Suppression of factual information, supply of fake documents, providing false or misleading information or any other undesirable action by the candidate shall lead to cancellation of his candidature.

In case, it is detected at any point of time in future even after appointment that the candidate was not eligible as per the prescribed qualification, experience etc. which could not be detected at the time of scrutiny / written / skill test and/or interview due to whatever circumstances, his / her appointment shall be liable to termination forthwith as per this clause and also based on his / her undertaking in online application form. Candidates are advised to confirm their eligibility prior to submission of online application.

5. APPLICATION FEE:

Rs 1000/- (Non-refundable)

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS:

a. All applicants are advised to read this advertisement carefully before filling up application form and ensure that no column is left blank. Once the application form is submitted, candidates may take a printout of the filled up Application Form, self-attest every page including attachments and post it on the address given in para 12 (vii) below. Please retain a copy of application form till the completion of the recruitment process.

b. All candidates are advised to be alert and check AIIMS Jammu website www.aiimsjammu.edu.in regularly. Any corrigendum or revision of the advertisement or any other information regarding this recruitment will be posted on the official website of AIIMS Jammu only. AIIMS Jammu will not be responsible for any issue/delay in accessing information / updates by the candidate through the website.

c. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the applied tests or document verification joining the duty on selection etc.

d. The candidate may have to work in shifts and can be posted at any place/department of the Institute.

e. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.

f. The appointee shall be a whole-time employee of the Institute and shall not accept any other assignment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage himself/herself in a private practice of any kind during the contract period.

g. Candidates appointed against the advertised posts shall be engaged purely on a contractual basis up to 31.10.2026 or till the regular posts sanctioned by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) are filled up, whichever is earlier. Such candidates shall have no right to claim absorption, extension or permanent employment.

h. The contractual engagement shall automatically expire on 31.10.2026 or till the regular posts sanctioned by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) are filled up, whichever is earlier, unless terminated earlier by the Institute by giving one month’s notice to the appointee. The appointee may also resign from the engagement by giving 30 days’ notice or salary in lieu thereof for the notice period or the period falling short of 30 days.

i. Competent Authority of AIIMS, Jammu reserves the right to: i. Withdraw this advertisement at any time without assigning any reason to this effect. ii. Increase / decrease the number of posts at the time of selection and make appointments accordingly. iii. fill or not fill the advertised post for any reason(s) whatsoever. iv. draw up reserve panel/waiting list(s), which may be used for appointments on consequential/new vacancies. v. consider applications received after last date. vi. place reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for applied test. vii. decide criteria/procedure for short listing of the candidates.

7. SELECTION PROCEDURE:

a. Based on the information provided by the candidates in the application form, candidates may be provisionally permitted to present themselves in person for appearing in the applied test without any scrutiny of eligibility or documents. Documents, to determine eligibility (w.r.t. to essential qualification(s), age, experience, wherever applicable, NOC etc.), of only those candidates will be scrutinized by the Institute’s scrutiny committee who appear for applied test/interview.

b. Candidates must bring copy of application form alongwith documents/certificates (along with Two sets of self-attested Photocopies) of following documents for verification as and when required by the Institute as well as at the time of joining. Without original documents, no candidate will be allowed for joining: i. Date of Birth (i.e. High School/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth Certificate); ii. Qualifying degree/diploma/certificate, as applicable. iii. Experience Certificate(s) iv. Registration Certificate, as applicable v. Identity Proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving Licence, Passport etc.)

c. After filling available posts all remaining otherwise eligible candidates shall be kept in the waiting list, if any. Any vacancy arising because of non-joining by selected candidates in this selection or by resignation of candidate who had joined after selection will be offered to the candidate from the waiting list according to his/her merit/category.

d. Final Result will be available on AIIMS website at www.aiimsjammu.edu.in only.

e. In case of any dispute or discrepancy, the decision of the Executive Director & CEO of the Institute shall be final in the matter of selection of candidate and no appeal will be entertained in this regard.

f. Selected candidate must join on or before the date stipulated in the letter of selection, failing which the selection shall stand cancelled/withdrawn.

g. The rules are subject to change in accordance with the decision of the Institute to be taken from time to time.

चयन प्रक्रिया: उम्मीदवारों का प्रारंभिक चयन आवेदन पत्र के आधार पर होगा। बाद में मूल दस्तावेजों का सत्यापन किया जाएगा। अंतिम परिणाम वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध होगा।

8. PAY SCALES:

Selected candidate will receive fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 51,684. They shall not be entitled to benefits like Provident Fund, deduction of NPS Subscription, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc. or any other benefits available to the government servants, appointed on regular basis.

वेतनमान: चयनित उम्मीदवारों को 51,684 रुपये प्रति माह का निश्चित पारिश्रमिक मिलेगा। वे भविष्य निधि या ग्रेच्युटी के हकदार नहीं होंगे।

9. LEAVE:

The leave entitlement of the appointee shall be governed by the Institute’s leave rules as amended from time to time.

अवकाश: अवकाश पात्रता संस्थान के नियमों के अनुसार होगी।

10. NATURE OF DUTIES:

The selected candidates will be required to perform duties as per the rules of the Institute as amended from time to time. The Institute is free to assign any duty as per the exigency of the situation at any time even during non-working hours / holidays. No extra/additional remuneration will be admissible in case of such assignment.

11. QUERIES:

a. Personal Queries or queries not strictly related to recruitment will not be entertained. Candidates are expected to ascertain their eligibility themselves by comparing the same with requisite qualifications & Experience of the post and therefore such queries may be avoided.
