AIIMS Nagpur, established under PMSSY with objectives of improving regional imbalances in the availability of affordable/reliable tertiary healthcare services and also to augment

facilities for quality medical education in the country. The institute has started fonctioning from session 2018-19. It is envisioned to develop into an iristitute with highest standards of teaching, training and research.

In this regard, applications are invited by the Executive Director & CEO, AllMB. 1. MBBS or equivalent cal qualification recognized under the India Medical Council (IMC) Act, 1956 or try the National Medical Commission (NMC) for practice of medicine in India.

2. Qualifying degree: A Postgraduate qualification MD or MS (recognised under the IMC Act, #1956 or by the NMC) or qualifications recognised by the NMC as being equivalent thereto for employment as a Teacher in a Medical institution. The qualifying degree must be in the subject of the post.

Experience:

Fourteen years teaching experience, obtained after obtaining the qualifying degree. The experience must be obtained in a department recognized by the NMC for award of the qualifying degree or an experience recognized by the NMC as being equivalent thereto.

For Super-Speciality disciplines

Essential Qualification:

1. Same as essential criteria 01 for Professor stated above.

Essential for Dentistry (Prosthodontist):

1. Agraduate dental qualification e.g. included in Part-I of Dentist Act, 1948

II. Qualifying degree: MDS in Prosthodontist (or a post graduate qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India as being equivalent thereto for employment as a teacher in a medical college), in the subject of the post.

III. Experience: Three years teaching experience after obtaining the qualifying degree. The experience must be obtained in a department recognized by the DCI for award of the qualifying degree or an experience recognized by the DCI as being equivalent Thereto.

7. The above vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. The Executive Director, AIIMS, Nagpur reserves the right to vary the vacancies including reserved vacancies as per the Govt. of India rules/circulars and requirements. The reservation will be followed as per Rules/Guidelines issued by DoPT.

8. Upper age limit:

I. Professor/Additional Professor. Not exceeding 58 (Fifty Eight) years as on closing date. ii

4. Relaxation of one-year Teaching/Research experience for candidates applying to posts reserved for SC/ST category will be given as per Rules/Guidelines issued by DoPT.

5. Reservations do not apply to posts filled on deputation basis.

6. As per the Govt. of India rules, EWS vacant posts will not be carried forward/or considered as backlog vacancy in case unfilled. Hence, other category candidates may be allowed provisionally to apply for such posts subject to condition that they will be considered for such post as an UR Candidate and only if the EWS category post(s) is/are otherwise not filled.
