Brief on ASHINE

ASHINE (Association for Harnessing Innovation and Entrepreneurship) is a NIDHI-TBI (Technology Business Incubator) established by Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat in association with the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

ASHINE is a section 8 (not-for-profit) company that aims to promote entrepreneurial activity on the SVNIT campus and the commercialization of R&D efforts across all engineering and technology disciplines, including Energy, Environment, and Manufacturing. It also extensively undertakes pre-incubation activities for SVNIT students under the SSIP policy of the Government of Gujarat. In the coming years, it envisions developing incubation activities in other sectors with support from various government/semi-government and private entities.

ASHINE, a NIDHI-TBI at SVNIT, Surat, is currently looking for a young and dynamic candidate for the following post:

➤Incubation Assistant (01 post)

The job location is the SVNIT campus, Surat, Gujarat, and familiarity with the city and surroundings is preferred for the applicant.

The post is purely contractual, initially offered for a period of 11 months, and is extendable based on satisfactory performance and requirement. The contract can be terminated with a one-month notice from either side.

INCUBATION ASSISTANT

Eligibility Criteria

Essential:

* Educational: Professional degrees such as B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech./MBA/MS/PGDBM/M.Pharm/CA.

* Experience: A minimum of 1 year of overall work experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in an incubation center or those handling activities/responsibilities relevant to the start-up ecosystem, technology commercialization, or IPR.

* Upper Age Limit: Less than 35 years.

* Salary Range: Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000/- per month (all inclusive).
