Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement as faculty on academic arrangement (need based) for teaching Post graduate and Five-Year Integrated Courses in the Constituent Colleges of the Cluster University of Srinagar for the academic session 2025-26 in following subjects:

The last date for submission of online applications at the University website www.cusrinagar.edu.in shall be 09.06.2025. Hardcopy of the application form submitted in online mode along with self-attested photo-copies of required testimonials shall be submitted in the office of Registrar from 09.06.2025 to 17.06.2025 (05.00PM). Thereafter, no application form/testimonial shall be accepted.
Merit list for short listing of the candidates for interaction shall be prepared strictly in light of UGC guidelines and shall be uploaded on the official website the university for five days. Queries/clarifications/grievances, if any, shall be emailed to [email protected] within the given time period. Thereafter no compliant regarding the merit list shall accepted by the university.
A. Required Qualifications
1. The candidates must possess post-graduate degree with 55% marks (50% in case of reserved categories) or Grade B in UGC seven-point scale in the concerned subject.
2. The candidates must have qualified NET/SLET or must have PhD Degree in same subject except in those subjects in which NET has been exempted by UGC.
Note:
a. The engagement of faculty on academic arrangement shall be made in light of UGC guidelines.
b. The engagement shall purely be need based and temporary and shall in no case confer any right for regular engagement.
The engagement shall be for a maximum of one academic session only and shall in no case confer right for continuation in any subsequent session thereafter.
d. The shortlisting of the candidates shall be made purely on merit basis.
e. No candidate shall be allowed to report for rendering service unless he/she executes an agreement.
on the prescribed format given below as annexure-01. f. Leave of any kind shall be considered only in light of statutory provisions and leave rules of J&K Government for contractual employees.

g. At any point of time during academic session, if a post is filled in through regular appointment or transfer of a regular faculty member, the engaged candidate in the subject, having lowest merit, shall get disengaged.
h. The candidates engaged on academic arrangement through selection process shall not have any preferential claim for regularization of their services.
i. Teaching experience certificates claimed by the applicant must be issued by the Government/Government recognized higher education institutions (University/College, /Research Institute) and duly signed by competent authority
(Registrar for Universities/Principal for Government Colleges/Dean College Development of the Affiliating University for Private Colleges/Director for Research Centers/Institutions). No teaching experience shall be entertained if issued after the last date of submission online application form.
j. Teaching experience gained/achieved as guest faculty/academic counsellor/demonstrator/trainee/Instructor (IGNOU/MANU/Distance Mode) shall not be entertained.
k. The post-doctoral research experience claimed by the applicant should be from recognized institutions/agencies and duly signed by the competent authority (Dean/HoD/ Chairman) of the university.
1. In the event of any information being found false, incomplete, incorrect, forged or tampered, the candidature of the applicant will be cancelled without any notice thereof. Further misleading information shall also warrant necessary legal action.
m . Applications must be accompanied by the following supporting and self-attested documents:
1) High School certificate from a recognized board
ii) Marks sheet and degree of graduation
iv) Certificate of NET/JRF/SET/SLET/CSIR, etc.

v) M.Phil./Ph.D. degree wherever applicable
vi) Experience certificates, wherever applicable
vii) Category certificate, if any, duly authenticated by the concerned authority
viii) Any other certificates/documents as required under qualifications
In case self-attested hard copies of above aforementioned documents are not enclosed with the application form, the application form will be summarily rejected.
