Programmer – Essential Qualifications

Candidates need an MCA, M.Sc. Computer Science, M.Sc. IT, B.Tech, or B.E. in CS or IT. Additionally, they must have at least 55% marks or equivalent grades. Furthermore, the degree must come from a recognized University or Institute.

📝 Selection Procedure

Evaluation Stages

The selection process has three stages. Firstly, candidates take a written test of 50 marks in MCQ format. Secondly, they take a Logic/Skill test of 30 marks. This test has two tasks of 15 marks each. Thirdly, candidates appear for an interview of 20 marks. Therefore, candidates must appear for all stages.

Application Requirements

  • Applicants must go through the detailed advertisement before filling the online form.
  • They must satisfy themselves that they possess the minimum essential qualifications and relevant experience.
  • The university will outright reject applications from ineligible candidates.

Nature of Engagement

  • The engagement shall be purely on a consolidated basis.

  • The appointed candidates shall act in conformity with the Statutes, Ordinances, Regulations, and rules of the University.
  • The engagement order or salary shall not be issued until a satisfactory character and antecedents report is received.

General Instructions

  • All educational qualifications must be from a University or Institute recognized by the Govt. of India.
  • The result should have been declared on or before the last date of submitting the online application.
  • Candidates with foreign degrees must enclose an Equivalence Certificate from the AIU, New Delhi.
  • The university will inform eligible candidates about the date and place of the written test or interview through email or website.
  • The University reserves the right to defer or not fill the advertised post without assigning any reason.
  • The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
  • Any disputes or legal proceedings shall be confined to the courts of Srinagar only.
  • No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for appearing in the test or interview.
