District and Sessions Judge Srinagar Class IV Posts Recruitment Advertisement Notification 02 2026

The Office of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Srinagar has released Advertisement Notification No. 02/2026 dated 22 August 2026, inviting offline applications from eligible candidates of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for filling up vacancies of Class IV posts in the Courts of District Srinagar.

प्रधान जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश, श्रीनगर के कार्यालय ने विज्ञापन सूचना संख्या 02/2026 दिनांक 22 अगस्त 2026 जारी की है, जिसमें जिला श्रीनगर की अदालतों में चौथी श्रेणी के पदों की रिक्तियों को भरने के लिए जम्मू एवं कश्मीर केंद्रशासित प्रदेश के पात्र उम्मीदवारों से ऑफलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए गए हैं।

A total of 17 vacancies are notified across two posts – Process Server (02 posts) and Orderly/Chowkidar (15 posts). Candidates who had already applied under Notification No. 04 of 2024 dated 16.05.2024 need not apply afresh.

कुल 17 रिक्तियाँ दो पदों – प्रोसेस सर्वर (02 पद) और आर्डरली/चौकीदार (15 पद) – के लिए अधिसूचित की गई हैं। जिन उम्मीदवारों ने 16.05.2024 की सूचना संख्या 04/2024 के तहत पहले आवेदन किया था, उन्हें पुनः आवेदन करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।

Eligibility Criteria: For Process Server – 10+2 examination from a recognised Board. For Orderly/Chowkidar – 10th (Matric) examination from a recognised Board. Candidates must be domiciles of UT of Jammu & Kashmir. Age limit as on 01.01.2026: OM – 40 years (born between 01.01.1986 and 01.01.2008); Reserved categories – 43 years (born between 01.01.1983 and 01.01.2008, except SC with 01.11.2008).

पात्रता मानदंड: प्रोसेस सर्वर के लिए – किसी मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड से 10+2 परीक्षा। आर्डरली/चौकीदार के लिए – किसी मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड से 10वीं (मैट्रिक) परीक्षा। उम्मीदवार जम्मू एवं कश्मीर केंद्रशासित प्रदेश के मूल निवासी होने चाहिए। 01.01.2026 तक आयु सीमा: OM – 40 वर्ष (01.01.1986 से 01.01.2008 के बीच जन्म); आरक्षित श्रेणियाँ – 43 वर्ष (01.01.1983 से 01.01.2008 के बीच जन्म, SC के लिए 01.11.2008 तक)।

📅 महत्वपूर्ण तिथियाँ: आवेदन पत्र 24 अगस्त 2026 से 22 सितंबर 2026 तक उपलब्ध होंगे। जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि (ऑफलाइन) – 22 सितंबर 2026। पंजीकृत डाक द्वारा आवेदन के लिए – 25 सितंबर 2026। साक्षात्कार की तिथियाँ अलग से अधिसूचित की जाएंगी।

How to Apply: Application forms can be obtained from the office of Principal District & Sessions Judge, Srinagar during office hours, or downloaded from the official website srinagar.dcourts.gov.in. Duly filled forms must be submitted to the Administrative Section of the court. A fee of ₹300 in the form of a Demand Draft from J&K Bank in favour of Principal District & Sessions Judge, Srinagar must be attached. Applications must be supported with self‑attested copies of qualification certificates, date of birth, domicile, and category certificate (if applicable).

आवेदन कैसे करें: आवेदन पत्र कार्यालयीन समय के दौरान प्रधान जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश, श्रीनगर के कार्यालय से प्राप्त किए जा सकते हैं, या आधिकारिक वेबसाइट srinagar.dcourts.gov.in से डाउनलोड किए जा सकते हैं। भरे हुए फॉर्म न्यायालय के प्रशासनिक अनुभाग में जमा किए जाने चाहिए। J&K बैंक से ₹300 का डिमांड ड्राफ्ट प्रधान जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश, श्रीनगर के पक्ष में संलग्न होना चाहिए। आवेदन के साथ योग्यता प्रमाणपत्र, जन्म तिथि, डोमिसाइल और श्रेणी प्रमाणपत्र (यदि लागू हो) की स्व‑सत्यापित प्रतियाँ संलग्न होनी चाहिए।

Mode of Submission: Only offline mode is accepted. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted. In‑service candidates must route their applications through the proper channel.

जमा करने का तरीका: केवल ऑफलाइन मोड स्वीकार किया जाता है। किसी अन्य माध्यम से जमा किए गए आवेदन स्वीकार नहीं किए जाएंगे। सेवारत उम्मीदवारों को अपने आवेदन उचित चैनल के माध्यम से भेजने होंगे।

Selection Process: Selection will be based solely on merit obtained in Interview/Viva Voce. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview. Eligible candidates will have to appear on the date/s notified separately. Wide publicity will be given through print and electronic media and the official website. No separate call letters will be issued individually.

चयन प्रक्रिया: चयन पूर्णतः साक्षात्कार/मौखिक परीक्षा में प्राप्त मेरिट पर आधारित होगा। साक्षात्कार में उपस्थित होने के लिए उम्मीदवारों को कोई TA/DA नहीं दिया जाएगा। पात्र उम्मीदवारों को अलग से अधिसूचित तिथि/तिथियों पर उपस्थित होना होगा। प्रिंट और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मीडिया तथा आधिकारिक वेबसाइट के माध्यम से व्यापक प्रचार किया जाएगा। कोई अलग कॉल पत्र जारी नहीं किए जाएंगे।
