Advertisement for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)-2025
Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), DRDO, Min. of Defence, Avadi is involved in the Design & Development of State-of-the-Art Armoured
Fighting Vehicles (AFVs) for the Army & Spin-offs for other Services (Air Force & Navy). CVRDE has the Core Competency in the technologies relevant to AFVs-ve.. Turret & Weapon System, Chasis & Automotive System, Powerpack Technologies
(Engine & Transmission), Running Gear Technologies, Vehicle Electrica’s. Electronics and Communication, etc. Also, CVRDE undertakes collatoritve resnanca with its IISc Bangalore and other leading academic institutiona
c) in addition to the above, any other selection tool/test may be administered, at the sole discretion of the Director, CVRDE.
d) No TA/DA will be paid for attending written test and interview or for joining, if selected.
) The decision of the committee constituted by Director, CVRDE in selecting the candidates will be final and binding on all the candidates.

CVRDE desires to engage young and maritonous Indian Nationals as Junior Research Fellows (JRF), who desire to pursue research in the areas related to AFV technologies.
Offline applications are invited, as per the format given in Annexure 1, for selection of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) in the following disciplines.

VIII. General instructions
a) The applicants should ensure their eligibility criteria in respect of age, essential qualification, etc.
b) Only those candidates who have been awarded Degree/Provisional Certificate are eligible to apply.
c) Those who were already awarded JRF position in any of the DRDO Laboratories/Centros cartier, are not eligible to apply again.
Misrepresentations or falsification of facts detected at any stage of the selection or a stage during selection process shall in canceliation of candidature without any notice and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
d) No allied or equivalent engineering discipline is acceptable. Similarly, M.E (or) M. Tech Engineering discipline, relevant to their BE/B.Tech Engineering discipline is only acceptable
) Only candidates applied within the due date will be shortlisted & intimated for further written test and Interview at CVRDE through mail
) Shortlisted candidates only have to attend the written test and interview song with a copy of the Intimation sent by CYRDE

IV. Documents to be enclosed
a) Self-attested certificates/testimonials for Date of Birth, Essential and Higher qualifications along with mark shoots, and GATE score, caste certificato, etc. if any document/certificate furnished are in a language other than English, a duly noff-attested transcript in English of the same is to be attached.
b) Candidates who are in regular service whether in permanent or temporary will be required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from the Cadre Controlling Authority present Employer at the time of Screening & Written Test (format given).
V. Written Test and Interview at CVRDE, Avadi
a) Date. Time and venue of written test (objective type) and Interview will be directly Intimated to the shortlisted candidates via email only.
b) Candidates are required to produce original certificates/testimonials at the time of interview
c) Written test (objective type) of all eligible candidates will be conducted after verification of certificate/testimonials
Candidates shortlisted from written test will be required to attend interview at CVRDE on the same day.
e) The candidates must come prepared to overstay for a day or two to complete the process

VI. Selection Process/Criteria
a) The shortlisted candidates on the basis of the BE/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech marks will appear for written test at CVRDE, Avadi, Chennai-600054
Candidates who do not gualify the Written test will not be considered for Interview
h) Applicants are advised not to change their registered mobile number and email, as vital information will be intimated through SMS/email
Candidates have to produce all certificates, in original, for verification before commencement of written test. One set of documents (self-attested) to be submitted during reporting time
