ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE AWARD OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)

Defence Bioengineering and Electromedical Laboratory (DEBEL), Bangalore, a premier Institute of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), invites applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF).

DEBEL invites appli-cations from young and meritorious Indian nationals with requisite qualifications, who desire to pursue defence-related research as Junior Research Fellows. Selection will be made on the basis of screening and interview.

BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication/Instrumentation with 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification

ME/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication/Instrumentation with 1st Division both at Graduate & Postgraduate level.

BE/B.Tech in Polymer Science & Technology/Textile Engineering/Textile Technology/Textile Chemistry/ Fibre Science with 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification

ME/ M.Tech in Polymer Science & Technology/ Textile Engineering/Textile Technology/ Textile Chemistry/ Fibre Science with 1st Division both at Graduate & Postgraduate level.

General Conditions:

1. Only candidates possessing the above-mentioned qualification(s) should apply. All the qualifications ac-quired should be from recognized Universities/ Institutions (approved by AICTE/UGC).

2. Tenure: JRF will be Initially awarded for a period of 02 (Two) years. This may be upgraded as Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for a period of one year (3rd Year) and further SRF may again be extended for a period of one more year (4th Year) based on performance.

3. Age Limit: The upper age limit for JRF is maximum 28 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The upper age limit shall be relaxable for the candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC as per Govt. of India rules. THE CLOSING DATE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS is 27th June 2025.

4. How to apply: After ensuring that all the eligibility conditions are fulfilled, candidates should download and fill the Application Form in the prescribed format given (also available on the ‘what’s new’ section of the website www.drdo.gov.in).
